The Centre Culturel Francophone de l’Okanagan (CCFO) is a non-profit organization that promotes the understanding and appreciation of French
language and Francophone cultures amongst all residents of the Okanagan region.
Even though we are located in a beautiful deconsecrated church, the CCFO is a non-religious organization where everyone is welcome!

The demystification workshop, facilitated by Amé Simard, is the cornerstone of Comité FrancoQueer de l'Ouest (CFQO)’s mission.
Through testimonies from 2SLGBTQIA+ Francophones, participants will learn key vocabulary and definitions to become better allies, in an
engaging session with interactive activities.

L'atelier du français inclusif, animé par Amé Simard, du Comité FrancoQueer de l'Ouest (CFQO), est offert aux personnes qui souhaitent pousser davantage leur réflexion et les façons de promouvoir l’inclusion à travers la langue parlée et écrite. La grammaire
inclusive vise à promouvoir l’inclusion sous toutes ses formes en démystifiant les identités 2SLGBTQIA+, en faisant la promotion des
néo-pronoms et en enseignant les bases de l’écriture épicène.
The Inclusive French workshop, facilitated by Amé Simard from the Comité FrancoQueer de l'Ouest (CFQO), is offered to those who
wish to deepen their reflection and explore ways to promote inclusion through spoken and written language. Inclusive grammar seeks to foster
inclusion in all its forms by demystifying 2SLGBTQIA+ identities, promoting the use of neopronouns, and teaching the basics of
gender-inclusive writing.
