Le CCFO vous invite à un 5 à 7 Franco exceptionnel dans le cadre du festival ClassicalValley, en présence du violoncelliste français Raphaël Jouan, accompagné du directeur artistique Cameron Crozman.

Pour sa toute première visite en Colombie-Britannique, Raphaël Jouan propose un moment musical unique autour de son parcours international. Artiste reconnu pour son jeu expressif et sa curiosité musicale, il a récemment marqué la scène classique avec un enregistrement salué par la critique du Concerto pour violoncelle de Dvořák, réalisé avec l’Orchestre national de Metz. Ce disque a été distingué comme « enregistrement classique incontournable » par le magazine Gramophone.

Membre fondateur du Trio Hélios, Raphaël évolue également dans la musique de chambre contemporaine et explore régulièrement les univers du jazz et de l’improvisation.

The CCFO invites you to a special Franco 5 à 7 as part of the ClassicalValley festival, featuring French cellist Raphaël Jouan, alongside Artistic Director Cameron Crozman.

For his very first visit to British Columbia, Raphaël Jouan offers a unique musical moment centered on his international career. Known for his expressive playing and musical curiosity, he recently made waves on the classical scene with a critically acclaimed recording of Dvořák’s Cello Concerto with the Orchestre national de Metz, recognized by Gramophone magazine as an “essential classical recording.”

A founding member of the Trio Hélios, Raphaël is also active in contemporary chamber music and regularly explores the worlds of jazz and improvisation.
