DELF EXAMS


Why register for the DELF?

DELF exams are official qualifications awarded by the Ministry of Education in France to certify French language skills for candidates outside of France; they are recognized worldwide, your certificate, or that of your child will be valid for life! 

It is currently used throughout the BC school system and across Canada. The exams are independent and candidates can register for the exam of their choice. Each exam assesses 4 communication skills: written and oral comprehension, and written and oral production.

We are happy to announce a collaboration with the Alliance Française de Calgary to offer you DELF exam sessions at CCFO.

NEW SESSIONS FOR 2024 ARE HERE: 

The DELF Junior is for students aged 18 or younger. 

Exam schedule:

We are not currently offering DELF Junior. However, all students can register to DELF Tout Public.

The DELF Tout Public is for all ages.

Exam schedule:

  • Monday, March 4th 2024 : DELF A1 Adulte. The exam starts at 9 a.m. and lasts 1 hours and 20 minutes + 15 minutes of oral exam.
  • Tuesday, March 5th 2024 : DELF A2 Adulte. The exam starts at 9 a.m. and lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes + 20 minutes of oral exam.
  • Wednesday, March 6th 2024 : DELF B1 Adulte. The exam starts at 9 a.m. and lasts 1 hour and 55 minutes + 25 minutes of oral exam.
  • Thursday, March 7th 2024 : DELF B2 Adulte. The exam starts at 9 a.m. and lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes + 50 minutes of oral exam
