Our teachers are experienced in French as a Second and Foreign Language and are passionate about teaching, the French language, and its rich cultures. They offer fun and interactive classes where learners play an active role in their learning. Through varied and hands-on activities, they foster a dynamic and participatory approach where learning happens by doing, all in a friendly and motivating environment.
Learning French at the CCFO goes far beyond the classroom! Each month, we offer up to 10 free French-language activities open to the local Francophone and Francophile community. In addition to these cultural and social events, learners can access our library with over 4,000 French resources and take part in programs like Tandem+ to practice the language, connect, and build relationships within the community.
Taking French classes is an investment in your future. Mastering the language opens many doors—whether to broaden your professional opportunities or to meet the language requirements for immigration to Canada. Whether you're looking to advance your career, apply for a bilingual position, or strengthen your permanent residency application, French is a major asset in an officially bilingual country like Canada.
If your goal is the TEF exam, check out our TEF Express courses.

Our courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), an internationally recognized standard that ensures a clear and structured learning progression—from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1).
